MINISTER TEKİN ANNOUNCES THAT THE DATE OF THE LGS CENTRAL EXAM HAS BEEN MARKED AS JUNE 2, 2024

Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin announced that the date of the LGS central exam has been determined as June 2, 2024.

Making a statement regarding the LGS central exam calendar, Minister Tekin said that the central exam as part of the High School Transition System (LGS) organized for 8th grade students will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
 
Stating that the children will complete the 2023-2024 school year by receiving their report cards on June 14, Tekin said that Saturday, June 15 is the eve of Eid al-Adha.
 
In this regard, Tekin stated that the central exam date as part of LGS in 2024 has been determined as Sunday, June 2. Noting that they want students to take the exam before the holiday to make them mentally feel comfortable while making both holiday preparations and summer holiday plans, the Minister said that there will be no change in the number and format of questions. Minister Tekin underlined that exam questions will be prepared in accordance with the exam calendar and based on the subjects and learning outcomes of the 8th grade curriculum.
 
Minister of National Education Tekin stated that they will continue to share studies and announcements regarding the exam calendar and process as the occasion arises.
